This course is especially suited to the following:

During this course participants will learn:

  • Fitness knowledge specific to self defence
  • The psychology of self defence (from both a defender & attackers view point)
  • Avoidance & awareness techniques for self defence
  • Verbal dissuasion & use of body language in self defence
  • Effective target hardening techniques
  • Simple but effective self defence orientated hand strikes & kicks
  • Simple but effective defences against common chokes and grabs
  • Simple but effective defences against weapon threat
  • Self defence for women orientated ground fighting techniques
  • Self defence for women orientated ground fighting techniques

Q. What kit do I need for the Course?

A. You only need your normal gym training attire (t shirt, track suit bottoms, trainers).

A towel and a bottle of water is also highly recommended as you may sweat.

We provide all training equipment during the class.

Q. When do I to turn up for the Course?

A. Please try to turn up at least 10 minutes before your course starts so that you can introduce yourself to the class instructor and so that we can verify your place – you will need to show the receipt on your mobile or via a printed copy.
